The process of developing and communicating marketing messages to other companies is known as business-to-business marketing, or B2B marketing. Specifically, it entails forming relationships, producing leads, and guiding prospects through the sales funnel in an effort to close the deal. It as known as business-to-business because in this area of marketing, the target audiences are actual businesses in the area of interest rather than individual consumers. This type of marketing often involves the sale products or services that are included in the final product of the consumer business.
